Dr. Tavis Campbell is Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology at the University of Calgary. His research interests involve identifying and understanding the behavioral factors involved in the etiology of illnesses such as hypertension, cancer and insomnia. Further, Dr. Campbell's program of research involves the evaluation of behavioral treatment for chronic illnesses and their symptoms including stress management, exercise and weight loss. As a Clinical Psychologist, Dr. Campbell treats patients in his private practice, which is focused on issues including insomnia, depression, anxiety and coping with chronic illnesses. Dr. Carlson is the holder of the Enbridge Endowed Research Chair in Psychosocial Oncology, an Alberta Heritage Foundation for Medical Research Health Scholar award, and is Associate Professor in Psychosocial Oncology in the Department of Oncology, Faculty of Medicine at the University of Calgary. She also holds an Adjunct Associate Professor appointment in the Department of Psychology. She is Director of Research and works as a Clinical Psychologist at the Department of Psychosocial Resources at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre. Dr. Carlson's current research interests are focused in the areas of computerized distress screening, psychoneuroimmunology, integrative oncology and complementary and alternative medicine, as well as providing and evaluating interventions for cancer patients. | Mike Antle, PhD, Psychology ![]() |
Dr. Antle heads the chonobiology lab at the University of Calgary. His key interest is in studying the mammalian circadian system. The circadian clock controls easily measurable behavioral and physiological processes, such as sleep/activity rhythms. Dr. Antle has a particular interest in translating his research into improvements for individuals who have difficulty with shift work or international travel. |

Dr. Samuels is the Medical Director of the Centre for Sleep and Human Performance in Calgary, Alberta. Dr. Samuels is board certified in Sleep Medicine with the American Board of Sleep Medicine. He has a clinical background in Rural and Urban Family Medicine.
